The retail version includes CD/DVD-ROM printed in 4-colors, DVD case, 4-color printed slip-in, printed installation instructions.  In addition to the StateTopo.exe file the disk includes the maps pre-packaged in the Garmin gmapsupp.img file so you can simply transfer the file to your flash card and be up and running. The installer has links to Garmin's website for a working copy of Mapsource.
